A magnificent white born of a terroir to red!
This plot, famous for its red wines, is located in the north of the Beaune appellation, on the border with Savigny-lès-Beaune. It benefits from an exceptional exposure East, South-East. The name of the locality evokes the fruit trees once exploited on these slopes that were covered with white flowers at the time of flowering. The Château de Meursault gives us proof that Chardonnay also has its place on this beautiful terroir. It signs a wine that reveals a gold color enhanced with emerald reflections, clear and crystalline. The bouquet is intense with harmonious scents of juicy yellow fruits and flowers mixed with vanilla and brioche notes. The fat and the mineral character perfectly mastered, combined with a persistent and elegant finish give this wine a great opulence.
To taste young on the fruit or in 5 to 6 years for its fat and softness.
Its freshness and floral register will do wonders on poultry and veal in creamy sauce but will also go with sushi or grilled sea fish. Older and therefore fatter, it will be able to sweeten cheese such as Cîteaux or a Comté of 24 months of ripening.
